- Select a large, grassy space with no trees, people or any other obstacles within a radius of 45m/50yds.
- Calm conditions or light breezes are best, ranging from 0-5km/hr or 0-3mph.
Do NOT throw in strong or gusty wind!
- Basic Grip: Hold boomerang tightly at either end with one or two fingers and thumb (flat side with label against the palm).
- Tilt 10 degrees off vertical: to the right for right-handers, to the left for left-handers.
- Stand facing the approaching breeze & turn 45 degees: to the right for right-handers and to the left for left-handers.
- Before each throw check the strength and direction of the breeze because both change all day!
- Aim at something in the distance just above eye level and throw forward over the shoulder, spinning the boomerang fast by snapping the wrist forward - not sideways!!
- Practise with concentration, develop technique, apply finesse rather than power and experience magical enjoyment!

Professional Tips
- Mark a spot on the ground and throw from there every time.
- If the boomerang lands too far left, throw that distance farther right on your next attempt and vice versa.
- When the breeze is greater than 5km/hr or 3mph throw at 0 degrees or vertical. When there is no breeze tilt the boomerang approximately 30 degrees to the right for RH and to the left for LH.
- Get to know a lot of boomerangs. Test throw different shapes, sizes and weights. Flight paths, speed, range and colours in the air vary from model to model.
- Change your thinking when you change boomerangs because all are different.
- Focus 100% to achieve great returns!
